Having come across Sonia reference the belly dancing purely by accident, I observed the intricate, well planned movement, along with intimate recall, anticipation and knowledge of the music. It was quite obvious to me that there really was something quite special going on here. The Flamenco and the other world styles of music (I particularly like the Flamenco) draws out a passion and intensity along with drama and precision. I really haven’t seen anything like this before. To me, I get the impression that Sonia digests the life and soul of her subject before performing it, and I remain glued as she tells her story through her dance. An absolutely original and awe inspiring performer. I hope she will come to the rest of Europe to soon. Wayne
